Black And Blue

Black and Blue written by Anna Quindlin is a heart wrenching story of a woman that experienced one moment of abuse before marriage that continually grew after marriage. This book had me hooked, I couldn't put it down.I didn't want the book to be finished, I would gladly read a part two.

This story reflects on the reality of abusive relationships and touches on why women have trouble leaving them. It reflects on hiding bruises, lies to cover injuries, and how it can affect those around the person being abused.

The most important part of this book is the fear a person in an abusive relationship faces in the relationship and if they get out of the relationship. It is a convincingly sad and realistic story with a message or an understanding of the situations in domestic relationships.
