Blood+, Vol. 4 contains the final Season of the Blood+ anime. In the 12-episode Season 4, we see how Saya ends Diva's life.

Julia who has replaced Dr. Collins as Diva's primary caregiver learns of Diva's pregnancy. When Dr Collins attempts to kill Julia to reclaim his position, David saves her and convinces her to return to the Red Shield. Later, they infiltrate a US military base when they learn Diva is to give a concert there. However, Saya and Hagi know that they are out of time as Saya's 30-year sleep cycle is approaching. In the end after Saya has killed Diva, Kai and Hagi convince Saya to live instead of killing herself as she planned. Julia finds a way to extend the life of the only surviving Schiff, Lulu. Although Hagi disappeared following his final fight with Amshel, a few years later as Kai brings Diva's daughter to visit Saya in the tomb where she sleeps, he finds a rose tied with Hagi's signature blue ribbon.

I supposed the best part of this series is the end as there are basically happy endings for all. Hagi confesses his love for Saya, and after devoting his entire life to her, he deserves his chance. Lulu, as the sole Schiff with both a sense of humour and determination to live life the fullest, lives on as Moses and Karman predicted. Even Diva's children who are innocent of any wrongdoing, gets a chance at life.
