Boondock Saints

With the sequel on the horizon, this fast-paced action movie that doesn't take itself too seriously is certainly seeing a resurgence of interest. (as evidenced my its Amazon sales rank of 221!)

Set in Boston, Irish brothers played by Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus set out on a God-given rampage to clean up their mobster infested neighborhood. They are pursued by an organized crime specialist FBI agent (Willem Dafoe) who is quite sharp despite attempts from his gay lover at distraction.

Don't let the gloom and doom scare you away from this highly entertaining flick-its not preachy, and it won't tax your mind. The 'blessed' vigilanteism serves to temper what otherwise would have just been a cheap way to commit murder, and the comic relief from the flaming FBI agent will have you rolling on the floor and laughing.
