Dance in the Vampire Bund

This 12-episode anime based on the ongoing manga of the same name, shows what happens when vampires and shape-shifters are outed. Mina Tepes, princess and ruler of the vampires decides its time to go public and does so. She bargains with the Japanese government to create an autonomous region within their country. Akira Kaburagi Regendorf is her 17-year old werewolf servant, bound to protect and obey her.

I'd suggest giving this one a miss. The conspiracies are convoluted and confusing, the characters feel like a bad copy of characters from other anime and there is no chemistry between the 2 leads. It could be because there isn't much time within 12 episodes, but the plots and counter-plots don't seem well worked out and plausible. Mina, who looks like a little girl, switches between being protective of Akira and testing him. Akira is easily influenced by the words of others and vacillilates between trusting and suspecting Mina's intentions. Why this two are supposed to be deeply in love is beyond me.

I don't know about the manga but I'd say give this anime a miss.
