''Movie is not something entirely new or something that has never been done before still the character of Silk is something fresh out of the oven.story takes off from a ambitious girl coming to madras to attain her dream.she meets naserudin shah an egotistical superstar who exploits her and than cuts the thread.Gloomy and sad she meets Tushar who happens to be the weakest link in this super thread.Than she meets Emraan which is a little too late in the movie who is a very talented director,who believes in film as an art.his time is restrained,which i think shoulnt have been done.the spark he ignites is in the last moments and that is the reason of 3.5 stars.overall great job by director,writer,vidya and Emraan Hashmi''..
