Harry Potter series review

The first book was very lighthearted, even J.K.s writing waas somewhat
niave. The book as well as the movie projected that view of youth.
Harry is like Holdem from Catcher in the Rye in a way that big things
are happening and he is looking at it as one big adventure. Around the
first three movies he doesn't see the seriousness of the world around
him. The complexness of the book is somewhat lost on the movie. In the
Prisoner of Askaban the book Harry is maturing so J.K. took on a
slightly more serious tone but, the movie turned out to be Highly
humorous. The Goblet of Fire, I believe is the best representation of
the book. By this time Harry saw new horrfying new things about the
wizarding world if he liked it or not. The movie conveyed the
seriousness of the death of cedric diggory. You see, this is a
representation of the suddeness of death. Cedric was at the high point
of his life and he was just a bystander. It pressed upon him the
dangerousness of what he was dealing with and matured him quite a bit.
Moving on to the 5th movie annd book, it was also done very well. The
turn on Harry and Dumbldore showed alot and the human condition. Once
their hero Harry was now hated by everyone in this world because of
fear. It also shows that, people will deny at all costs to keep from
living in fear. By this book Harry has fully matured. The sixth book,
Harry has seen the way people are and is seeking depth and come to a final resolution where he finally sees his life is not important over the thousands Voldemort will kill. And the Deathly Hallows, he does not care about saving himself, he meerly wants to stop him. He knew he was going to die.
