Insidious: My Thoughts on the Movie!

If you are a huge fan of the horror/fantasy/thriller genre I totally recommend this movie. It was produced, directed, and written by the makers of Saw and Paranormal Activity which definitely give the film it's scary and thriller elements. When I saw that the makers of Paranormal Activity were involved in this movie, I knew I had to see this movie! There was never one slow spot in the movie. It was written so well, that the story flowed at a good pace. Things started out well, a nice family moving into a new house and things slowly became worse and worse. There were scenes that kept you on the edge of the seat because you had no idea what was going to happen next, but you didn't know exactly where the root of this evil was coming from, so it kept you watching more answers. You wanted more, you wanted to find out why the house was haunted, why a boy who did not suffer from head trauma mysteriously slip in and out of a coma, who exactly were these spirits. When you get to the scene where the family has now agreed to hire somebody who is an expert at evil spirits and demons, you find out where the root of this evil is coming from and what must be done to stop it. You begin to take an emotional side with the family and you want them to succeed in their endeavors. I am not going to reveal any specific details; however I will tell you that because the movie takes you in emotionally towards the end, you feel such joy for the family at the end of the movie. If you're in for an adventure and for a scare, watch Insidious!
