Maiden Heist
I was hesitant to watch this movie last night because the title just didn't interest me and usually my husband and I have different taste in movies. The movie was called The Maiden Heist starring Morgan Freeman, Christpher Walken, and William H. Macy. I was wrong because the film ended up being entertaining and I should have known because the three actors in the movie are extremely talented and never dissappoint.
The story is based on security guards infatuated with the paintings that they are guarding. Although a bit slow and drawn out at times it had some hilarious scenes one in which Christpher Walken's character constantly fantisizes about the young woman in the painting as if she were real.
What I thought also made this movie good was the fact that even though the steal the painting heist story I'm sure has been done before, the reason the guys in this movie wanted the paintings had nothing to do with money. The characters they played were lovable and their passion for the artwork brought them together as friends.
The film had a small amount of nudity in it which was I guess, was exposed by William H. Macy's quirky character but I thought this made the movie even more funny.
I would definately suggested that this is a movie worth watching.
